Vintage Galaxian Tabletop by Coleco - 1981

At the height of the Pac-Man craze, video game craze, and handheld electronic craze, Coleco created mini versions of famous arcade games. They started with Pac-Man, but it wasn't long before Ms. Pac, Galaxian, Donkey Kong and others joined the family.

The Galaxian invasion start off with a bang. Instantly, an entire fleet of invaders descends toward the planet. The command ship suddenly becomes the target of a missile ambush. The Galaxian fleet is fast and strong. They attack in waves, approaching faster and faster with each wave. They swoop downward, firing laser cannons. The majority of them charge in single file; others blitz in groups.

Neat retro game measures 8" tall by 8" wide by 6" deep and looks like a miniature version of the classic Bally/Midway's 80s arcade game, Galaxian. Great display piece or play up to 3 different ways including head to head Galaxian, classic and Midway's Attractions version (Space Invaders). Overall a great example of this classic 80s toy.
